2005 CABERNET MERLOT

Brave Goose Cab/Merlot is a 50:50 blend of fruit from mature cabernet sauvignon and merlot vinesgrown at the Brave Goose Vineyard. Perfect ripening conditions have resulted in a wine of deep rich garnet colour with complex aromas of forest floor, anise and peppermint. Flavours of all spice and blueberries are present with fine tannins and a long finish.

2006 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Brave Goose Cabernet Sauvignon is typically deeply coloured and displays signature cassis and blackberry flavours with floral overtones of violets. The wine is aged in new and old French barriques. This wine will age well if stored correctly.

GAMAY

Gamay is the traditional grape variety of the Beaujolais region of France. It is superb as an aperitif, or can be served with a range of cuisines. The Brave Goose Gamay, with its fragrant nose of rose petals and berries, is a light to medium bodied wine with spicy guava and mint flavours.

It has fine tannins and a long finish. Gamay is enjoyed slightly chilled or at room temperature.



 

2006 MERLOT

This variety seems utterly at home on the slopes of our vineyard, and has produced some stunning single varietal vines. It ripens well, and is typically brilliant ruby red, with aromas of almonds and liquorice. The palate is tangy and subtle with hints of tamarillo, persimmon and lavender.

2006 SHIRAZ

Brave Goose shiraz is an elegant, complex, peppery style, reminiscent of the great reds of the Rhone valley. It is well balanced, rich and spicy with a lingering finish.
